Foot baths

This partial bathing technique is very similar to hand baths, but applied to the lower extremities, and particularly to the feet and lower legs.
These baths are recommended for any kind of inflammatory ailments of the joints such as arthrosis of the ankle, and in traumatological ailments such as sprains and tendinitis in the ankles and knees. This makes the technique highly recommended in therapies for rehabilitation from surgery and fractures in these parts of the body.
The most important effects include improved blood circulation, making it indicated in the treatment of circulatory complaints such as oedemas and varicose veins, which are helped by its anti-inflammatory action.
This technique is also recommended for the treatment of allergic complaints in feet and for other skin disorders such as eczemas, as it improves the elasticity of the tissues and remineralises the skin.
